Truth about online dating sites feeds
Yes, that’s just the number of different it’s no wonder that many people find online dating overwhelming!
A bit over a decade ago, online dating was viewed by many as the last resort for those who hadn’t found a relationship the “normal” way.
These students would realize the importance of these social relationships after a few years but it would be too late for them.
So, it is our responsibility to help them stay connected to both the worlds so that they do not have to regret their actions in the future.
In the US, online dating is now the second most common way for heterosexual couples to meet (behind introductions through friends). After millions of years of human evolution, and thousands of years of the development of human society, humans had settled on the idea that in-person interactions through fun, face-to-face social activities were the best way to meet new people.
And then along came online dating to blow that idea away.
The students cannot differentiate between these two worlds and they do not understand the importance of communicating with those that are studying with them in the college or university.
Instead of meeting people in a fun social environment first, and using all the social tools we have to figure out if you like somebody’s company, technology arrived to help you make a decision about someone without ever even needing to meet them in person.
And with such an alluring promise, it’s understandable why online dating took off so quickly.
They do not understand that dating sites can put a negative impact on their life and sometimes, they may suffer from issues like scam and fraud.
As the students do not show any interest in talking to their classmates, they cannot build any connections in the college.
