Updating the device driver for your video card
This is really only necessary when either your Driver is very outdated, has become corrupt or often when you update to a new Operating System.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: For Video Graphics drivers and all other drivers downloading the latest Driver releases can help resolve Driver conflicts and improve your computer’s stability and performance.
If you are unsure of whether or not you need to update your Drivers, or indeed which Drivers may need to be updated, you can run a Drivers scan using a driver update tool (you will need to pay to register this tool but usually the Drivers scan is free).

After you upgrade to Windows 10, problems can occur because your current driver may work only for the prior version of Windows.
